Last Tuesday, the heart of Milan stopped for a moment—but only to make way for a magic of light, plants, scents, and craftsmanship. We were guests at a special event at the headquarters of Tearose Boutique , in Piazzetta Croce Rossa, has been completely transformed for the festive season: a spectacular display of warm lights, floral arrangements, elegant decorations, and an atmosphere made even more immersive thanks to the collaboration with Soho House .

Tearose is much more than a boutique. It's a place where fashion, design, perfumes, and floral art coexist, creating a multisensory experience. Originally a florist with a refined aesthetic, it has now become a concept store as curated as an art installation: every corner tells a story, every scent sparks a memory, every object is chosen to evoke emotion.

For the occasion, Tearose donned a Christmassy look of soft lighting, bright green, elegant decorations, and vibrant colors. A perfect setting for a moment dedicated to Made in Italy craftsmanship.

🥿 Live demonstration: the “sewn and turned” method

We were invited by Toujours , a brand we often collaborate with, to show live how a Spelta ballet flat is made. During the event, we performed a demonstration of our artisanal process, the "sewn and turned" technique, a traditional method that requires precision, patience, and expertise.

The shoe is sewn inside out and then turned inside out by hand to create a flexible, soft, and aesthetically impeccable shoe. Each pair is the result of slow, thoughtful work, crafted stitch by stitch.

The contrast between the frenetic pace of Milan —fast, polished, and constantly in motion—and the calm of our artisans , who dedicate the necessary time to every detail, surprised and fascinated the audience. Many guests approached in amazement, observing gestures rarely seen in person today.
