Yes, Spelta Milano based its production site since 1957 in Parabiago, a district near Milan known as the 'city of footwear'. Initially, the production included different type of footwear and the family business supplied numerous stores throughout Italy. Since 1967, the year of birth of our Speltina, the production has focused on ballet flats, which became the symbol of the brand.

What does it mean "handmade ballerinas"?
Each Spelta Milano shoe is handmade, following a process that goes from the cutting of the upper to the packaging of the finished shoe: each step, from the sewing to the creation of the bow, is followed with scrupulous attention by our craftsmen with extreme care for details. Through the "sewing and turning" technique, a particular sewing method based on a reinterpretation of the traditional Goodyear process, the upper is sewn directly to the sole and then turned over. This results in a unique fit sensation, as well as in a remarkable durability of footwear over time, without any detachment or loss of the sole.
What usually are the delivery times?
Our policy does not contemplate warehouse stocks. Each model is handmade and made-to-order, respecting the times of craftsmanship. For this reason, delivery times vary from 2 to 3 weeks depending on order quantities and country. It's always possible to track the status of your shipment through the tracking number you receive by email after you place the order. How can I return a product?
It is always possible to make a return if the product does not conform or the size does not fit perfectly. To start the return procedure you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will show you how to do it.
